JUDY LEONARD'S HISTORY
A professional singer, pianist, teacher,
and writer for 20 years, Judy Leonard's musical talents
possess heavy influences of gospel, pop, rock, and R&B,
a unique sound appealing to all ages. She's sung concerts,
live and background studio vocals for commercials and
CD/Album projects, and has toured the Southeast performing
her original children's music. In addition to performing,
Judy has taught music at all age levels in public schools,
private schools, and colleges. Judy also holds a Bachelor
of Music Education Degree from FSU. Judy's teaching
and performance experience combine to deliver high energy
enthusiasm and practical knowledge to her students.
She finds the diamonds of talent within her students
and polishes them to shining brilliance!
Judy has extensive professional experience
as a singer/pianist/entertainer in live shows, theme
parks, convention/trade shows, and recording studios.
She has produced and directed self-authored musical
plays throughout the southeastern U.S. Judy also has
experience as a public speaker and workshop facilitator
for groups of all sizes and age levels. In addition,
she served as a radio talk show host for a major FM
rock station in Atlanta, Georgia. Judy has sung lead/background
vocals for numerous radio commercials, industrials,
and album/CD projects.

- Write/perform/produce/distribute
four children's music tapes and curriculum materials
which are currently used by more than 500 schools,
teacher training facilitators, and children's
activity leaders throughout the United States.
- Develop and facilitate workshops
in children's music education and creative writing
(have been retained by numerous school districts,
national and state children's organizations,
zoos, aquaria, and retreat centers in the
United States).
- Served as staff songwriter for The Reppies,
an educational program syndicated on many
American and Canadian PBS television stations
(awarded a 1997 Sun Coast Emmy).
- Performed concerts for children and families
in schools, malls, zoos, aquaria, and camps/retreats.
